...Madelyn: She likes to play hide-and-seek but she has not completely grasped the concept...she thinks if she cannot see you, you cannot see her. Therefore the other day when she was playing hide-and-seek with my friend Maria's daughter Erin I watched her "hide" by sticking her head under a blanket.
...Abigail: She calls everything "a ball" these days. Not just "ball" but "a ball." It's really cute and she says it quite well. That must be her favorite word.
...Madelyn: She likes to have imaginary conversations on her cell phone. She pauses for the "other person to talk" and everything. Oh yeah. The other day she had a nice conversation with Cinderella, who was at the ball of course. She asked Cinderella if she could talk to the prince...waited a few minutes and then talked to him. It's hysterical and really quite polite.
...Abigail: She is into everything and gets so mad if you put a gate up (even if you are on the same side right next to her---she just hates the idea of being penned in.) But when she is not all upset she will just wander around and check things out, often with her hands folded behind her back like she is on a nice afternoon stroll.
...Madelyn: She says "sorry 'bout that" all the time....and often when she really does not need to be sorry (like if she drops something by accident) but never when she really should be sorry (like when she pushes her sister.)
...Abigail: She sleeps with her feet crossed at the ankle, just as she was one time during an ultrasound before she was born.
Kids are funny and they do things that amuse us all the time. I just have to be better about remembering them especially on the days that they are driving me crazy!
