Our library had a story time today that was right up our alley...it was a Princess Ball! Formal attire encouraged. It was the cutest thing ever. Honestly. Princes were welcome too but the princesses sure outnumbered the princes. Several of our princess friends were there though there had to have been at least 70 children in all! Mention a princess and the crowds will come running.
They read stories, acted out little plays, danced, played games, had a parade around the library and then a snack of punch & cookies. It was really just too adorable seeing all these little girls sitting in the mountains of tulle.
Madelyn wore her favorite Cinderella dress and Abigail wore one her own fancy dresses (next year the princess dresses may fit her.) Several girls were Disney Princesses but there were all kinds of princesses including a few little girls with tiaras and white gloves. Oh what fun to have little girls!

The best part about the day: Abigail seems to be feeling better---her fever is gone and she has two new teeth that she is quite proud of.
