Egg hunt #1

This is the year of the egg hunts. I think we will be attending four this year (it would have been 5 had we gotten the tix for the White House Egg Roll---we were so, so close in Kevin's 100+ log-ins on Thursday but no luck this year.)

Today was our first of the season and it was a smashing success. Today's event was at my high school. It was fun to be back and kind of weird to be there also. We did attend this event when Madelyn was 15 months old so this year we were a little more into it. Also with the 'no naps' (ironically they did take a nap todady!) we were able to stay for lunch (CFA!) and the play, The Velveteen Rabbit (my childhood fav.) It was a good time and the girls were masters at loading up on eggs. They even were brave enough to sit on the Easter Bunny's lap! Good times!
