This week we are partcipating in our parish's vacation bible school. The theme is Crocodile Dock. Both girls are in the preschool program despite the fact Abigail misses the cut-off by about a month. She's hanging in there though. I was surprised to hear her repeating some of the lessons this afternoon in the grocery store. She chanted..."God is With Us" and then shouted the response (fist pumping in the air an all): "Fear Not!" They are both in my group and I am the "Bayou crew leader." It's been a while since I have taught religious ed. so I am a little rusty. But Day 1 was a lot of fun. We are all completely exhausted. The girls are fast asleep and I hope I will be soon too.
