The coolest place in Maryland on a HOT day is this Splashpark. It was a bit of an adventure for us to get there...we drove with friends...so by the time we got home we felt like we had been on a road trip! But it was so worth it. This place was so much fun and very refreshing. Fairly relaxing for us moms also since it is extremely safe for the kids to run off and play while the moms take five in the shade. There was a full view of the whole area at all times.
Madelyn was off in the mix as soon as we got there. Abigail took a while to warm up and really never did like the idea of being in the middle when the water is low but very quickly fountains higher and higher. Poor thing darn knocked herself over in a panic to escape.
What a fun day!
