Having a ball at the Ball

Today we attended our very favorite story time of the year....the Princess Ball! Of course this event at the library is right up our alley. It is so cute to see all the little princesses (and princes!) all decked out. This year was no different though we attended with Michelle, Alexa and Jilly, kindred spirits in the princess department. Stories, singing, dancing, mini-plays, magic wands (pretzels), lady finger cookies for dessert. What a princess treat! We had a last minute costume change--literally as we were walking out the door!--but Madelyn opted for Cinderella again this year and Abigail took a chance on Little Mermaid (though she still wore some traditional Cinderella and Snow White accessories.) I guess there is nothing to over the top for the Princess Ball.
